When Ibegan mysearch for my“forever”car, mydaughter suggested Icheck with her father-in-lawArt. Their family had bought their cars from Rydell Chev. for many years and were very satisfied with their sales and service. Ihad looked ata couple ofsales lots inFergus Falls and Fargo earlier but had not found what Iwas lookingfor. InAugust Art picked meup and wemet with Jim atRydell inGrand Forks. The showroom was warm and welcoming. Jim was kind, knowledgeable and patient. Hehad picked out afew cars for usto test drive based onmy needs and interests. When heshowed usthe Equinox Ijust knew that was mycar. The next day hecalled with agreat price. After Iaccepted the offer Iasked Jim ifhe could bring the car toa safe place toprotect itfrom the weather until Icould pick itup. (There was aGM hold onit for apart that was onorder.) Jim had the car put onthe showroom floor! After several customers asked about purchasing ithe finally had toput a“sold” sign onit. The day Ipicked upmy new car hetook apicture ofme standing infront ofmy car with that sold sign. The happy look onmy face tells the whole story. We worked with BradC. who was great from start tofinish. Myhusband contacted him via text and told him what wewere looking for and before weknew itBrad had already selected several vehicles that met all ofour specifications, helped usset upan appointment, and prepped the cars for test drive. Once wegot tothe dealership wewere inand out within 3hours (and that included multiple, long test drives.) Outstanding service!

The service department with Nick isgreat. Dealing with Ashley atthe collision center isa joke. Nocommunication, she said they put the new mud flapson, and the box wasn’t even open. Iuse tobe all about Rydells when John was the manager atthe collision center. There’s anoise onthe vehicle, Ashley said itwas from the receiver hitch, however the noise was there prior toleaving the receiver hitchon. She asked inemail ifwe would want toreschedule because her service guys didn’t find anything the day they checkedit, but assoon aswe hit the highway home there was the noise and noreceiver hitch wason. They probably didn’t checkit, just asthey didn’t put the new mud flapson, just reshaped the old ones. We’ve done business with Rydells the past 5years, and recommended them multiple times. But wewill not begoing back there. Service isawfulnow. John always made sure everything was top notch, Ashley could care less. Save the headaches and goelsewhere.… – show

Was noticing problems with transmission and various other things onmy 2021gmc, got scheduled relatively fast and inshop just asfast. Advisor keeps you updated onany changes orquestions about vehicle while inyour care. Not afan ofthe way this pickup was built, trim and other stuff incab donot line upbut thts adifferent topic for adifferent time. Thank the staff, and Mechanics always dogreat work. I was told Iwould becalled back last Thursday because they had toask someone within Rydell aquestion and itis now Sunday evening and Ihaven't been called back. Iwas planning tocome into purchase the vehicle onMonday, but now won't because Ineeded tohear back from them inorder tofinalize/sign myloan. Very much questioning whether togo through and purchase the vehicle because ofthe poor service.

I bought acar from rydell and itneeded rear differential parts and Inoticed the rear tires had much less tread than the front ones,so Iasked the service writer ifit waok todrive that way and said itwould befine. Icalled another chevrolet dealership and they said don't drive itthat way itwill cause harm tothe allwheel drive. Isold tires for years and Iknew the writer atRydells was wrong.

Previously wehad great experiences with sales and service, however last vehicle leased, 2018GMC Terrain, was alemon and this dealership's choice was todo nothing but disappointus, even with our long history ofleases and purchasing over the years. Sad indeed, asthey lost our respect & business along with Chevrolet, who also bailed onus.
