I had the honor of being featured on the “Newsmakers” segment on Fox 8 tonight. Thank you to News Anchor, Neill McNeill, for this opportunity to not only discuss my work at the Community Foundation, but my previous work in the Banking Industry and at Mount Zion. I credit and thank my Aunt, Mary L. Thomas Thomas, for exposing me to the work of philanthropy at such a young age. This is just the beginning, I have so much more to give!

Tom Ford once said that dressing well is a form of good manners. I happen to agree…and I think I’ll continue to wear a suit to work on Friday’s.

Last week Truliant Federal Credit Union was the Presenting Sponsor for the Triad Business Journal’s “Leaders in Diversity” Awards. Huge congratulations to my Leader Precious Quire-McCloud for her well-deserved recognition as a Leader in Diversity. It’s truly an honor to work alongside of her and learn from her on a daily basis! And a special shoutout to my cousin Danielle A. Harrison, Ed.D. for her outstanding leadership at Guilford Works, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Both Precious and Danielle’s contributions are truly commendable and serve as a shining example for others to follow!

Monopoly is the ultimate teacher! I’m using the game to teach my 4 year old how to budget, take risks, and stack assets.Just like in real life…if you don’t budget, take risk, and stack assets, you’ll end up paying someone who did!

Attending the "Empowering Men To Win" conference was truly fulfilling for me today. I had the opportunity to listen to a variety of remarkable speakers and presenters throughout the day. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the keynote address delivered by John Hope Bryant. Having followed and analyzed John's business strategies closely for the past few years, being able to personally absorb his wisdom and insights was incredibly inspiring. His presence and words resonated deeply with me, leaving a lasting impact on my perspective. Overall, the experience was enriching and motivating, fueling my drive for personal and professional growth.
